1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using EcoCams - Live Wild ("the Site," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of Service
EcoCams curates and embeds publicly available live wildlife video streams sourced from third-party providers, including but not limited to Explore.org, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, aquariums, and national park services. We do not host, own, or control the underlying video content. Streams are subject to availability and may go offline without notice due to weather, equipment maintenance, or decisions made by the original broadcaster.
3. Third-Party Content & Intellectual Property
All video footage displayed on the Site is the property of its respective original source and is embedded via publicly provided links or players, not rehosted. Trademarks, channel names, and footage remain the property of their owners. If you are a rights holder and believe your content has been used improperly, contact us and we will promptly review and address the request.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) scrape, copy, or redistribute stream embeds or Site content for commercial purposes without permission; (b) attempt to interfere with, disable, or overload the Site or its infrastructure; (c) use automated means to access the Site other than publicly permitted search engine crawlers; or (d) use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
5. Email Sign-Up & Communications
If you sign up for email updates, you consent to receive periodic messages about new cams, featured sightings, and occasional partner promotions. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in any email we send. See our Privacy Policy for details on how submitted data is handled.
6. No Warranty & Availability
The Site and all embedded streams are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free access to any live stream, as availability depends on third-party broadcasters and general internet conditions outside our control.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EcoCams shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, including loss of data, stream interruptions, or reliance on any field notes or descriptions provided alongside the streams.
8. Changes to the Site
We may add, remove, or replace cams, sections, or features of the Site at any time without prior notice, including updates to the live cam list which may occur without a corresponding change to these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which EcoCams operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
